About this place
Glasgow’s largest park featuring woodland walks, Highland cattle, playgrounds and Pollok House.
Glasgow's largest park combines woodland walks, gardens and a resident herd of Highland cattle with Pollok House, an 18th-century mansion housing an art collection that was once part of the wider Burrell Collection before that moved to its own dedicated gallery nearby. The scale of the park means there's genuinely enough space to spend a full day here without repeating the same paths, and the White Cart Water runs through much of the grounds, adding another point of interest along the way. It's a rare example of genuine countryside within Glasgow's city boundary. It's free to visit the park, with a charge for Pollok House, and most paths are buggy-friendly.
