Award-winning transport museum on the River Clyde with historic vehicles, trains and interactive displays.

Designed by the late architect Zaha Hadid, Riverside Museum's striking wave-like building on the banks of the Clyde houses one of Europe's finest transport collections, from historic trams and locomotives to a genuine reconstruction of a 1930s Glasgow street that visitors can walk straight into. The Tall Ship Glenlee, a restored 19th-century sailing ship, is moored right outside and can be boarded as part of the same visit, adding a hands-on maritime element to the museum's mostly land-based transport. Interactive driving and engineering stations keep the visit hands-on throughout rather than just look-but-don't-touch. Entry to the museum is free, with a small charge for the Tall Ship, and the building is fully accessible.
