Designed by the late architect Zaha Hadid, this transport and technology museum on the banks of the Clyde uses interactive exhibits and hands-on activities to bring its extensive vehicle collection to life, from historic trams and cars to a reconstructed 1930s Glasgow street that visitors can walk directly into. The Tall Ship Glenlee, moored just outside, can be boarded as an extension of the same visit. It's one of Glasgow's best free family days out, with enough variety to hold interest across a wide age range. Entry is free, with a small charge for the Tall Ship, and the building is fully accessible.
