Formerly known as Our Dynamic Earth's sister attraction, this science centre fills several floors with hands-on exhibits covering everything from physics and space to the human body, alongside a planetarium showing regular shows about the night sky. Interactive workshops run through the day, often built around a rotating theme, giving repeat visitors something different each time. It's designed to be genuinely touched and tested rather than just observed, which tends to suit energetic children particularly well. There's an admission charge, and the venue is fully indoors and accessible, making it a reliable option regardless of the weather.
