About this place
Quiet scenic bay on the west side of Cumbrae popular for picnics and wildlife spotting.
This quiet, scenic bay on the west side of Cumbrae is popular for picnics, with views out across open water and a good chance of spotting seabirds or seals along this less-visited stretch of coastline. Its position on the quieter side of the island, away from Millport's town centre, gives it a more peaceful feel than some of the busier beaches nearby. A cafe near the bay makes it an easy stop to combine with a longer cycle or walk around the island. It's free to visit, with parking available nearby.
