One of Aberdeen's largest and best-loved parks, Duthie Park is home to the David Welch Winter Gardens, one of the biggest indoor gardens in Europe, with tropical plants, cacti and a butterfly area that make it a genuine year-round attraction regardless of the Scottish weather outside. Beyond the glasshouse, the wider park has a boating pond, play areas and long stretches of open lawn for a picnic or a run around. It's free to visit both the park and the Winter Gardens, with parking available nearby, and the paths throughout are flat and buggy-friendly.
