One of Aberdeen's largest parks, Hazlehead combines a hedge maze, a small animal enclosure and several play areas with extensive woodland walks, giving families plenty of choice depending on how much time and energy is available. The maze in particular is a reliable favourite with children, offering a proper if gentle challenge to navigate through. A golf course occupies part of the wider estate, and the park as a whole has the mature, well-established feel of a long-standing city green space. It's free to visit, with parking on site and most main paths suitable for buggies.
