About this place
Large park with loch walks, cycling paths and adventure playgrounds.
Built around the artificial Strathclyde Loch, this large park offers walking and cycling paths circling the water alongside adventure playgrounds and watersports facilities, making it one of the biggest all-round family destinations in the Glasgow and Clyde Valley area. The remains of a Roman bathhouse sit within the park's grounds, an unexpected historical extra alongside the more obviously recreational facilities. Its scale means a full visit can easily fill most of a day, whether spent walking, cycling or simply at the playgrounds. It's free to visit, with parking on site and most main paths suitable for buggies.
