This hilltop country park on the edge of Glasgow offers a well-regarded network of mountain bike trails alongside panoramic views back over the city and out towards the surrounding countryside, making it popular with cyclists as well as walkers. Its elevated position gives some of the best views of Glasgow available from any of the city's parks. Trails range from gentle paths suited to families to more technical mountain biking routes for experienced riders. It's free to visit, with parking on site, and terrain varies considerably depending on which trails are used.
