Part of the Loch Lomond Shores complex at Balloch, this aquarium brings sharks, rays and a wide range of other marine life to a landlocked location, with interactive displays and feeding sessions giving children a closer look than a typical tank-gazing visit. A walk-through underwater tunnel is usually the highlight, letting visitors watch sharks and rays glide directly overhead. Its position within the wider Loch Lomond Shores site makes it easy to combine with shopping, cruises or a walk along the loch. There's an admission charge, and the whole aquarium is indoors and fully accessible.
