About this place
Small wildlife park within Camperdown Park featuring animals such as lynx, wolves and birds.
Within the wider grounds of Camperdown Country Park, this smaller wildlife centre focuses on animals with a genuine Scottish connection, including lynx and wolves that once roamed the country's forests before being hunted to extinction centuries ago, alongside various native birds. It gives the visit an educational angle that's a bit different from a typical zoo, focused on Scotland's own lost wildlife rather than exotic species from elsewhere. The centre is compact enough to see in an hour or so, making it easy to combine with the park's playground and woodland walks. There's an admission charge, and most enclosures are viewable from accessible paths.
