Long sandy beach perfect for family walks and picnics.

This long stretch of sandy beach runs along the coast near Dundee, offering plenty of room for family walks, picnics and sandcastle-building without the crowds of some busier seaside spots nearby. It connects along the coastal path towards Broughty Ferry, making it possible to combine the two into a longer walk if the weather and energy levels allow. There are no major facilities directly on the beach itself, so it's worth stopping in the town first. It's free to visit, with parking available nearby and dogs welcome along most of its length.
