Described as Scotland's largest urban nature park, Seven Lochs spans a network of lochs and wetlands straddling the boundary between Lanarkshire and Glasgow, bringing together a wide range of habitats and wildlife within easy reach of a major urban area. Waymarked trails link the different lochs, giving families the choice of a shorter loop or a longer walk taking in several of the wetland sites. Its scale and biodiversity make it a genuinely significant nature reserve despite its unassuming, largely unmarked presence on the edge of the city. It's free to visit, with several access points and parking areas, and paths vary in surface and accessibility.
