Family days out in Skye
The Old Man of Storr, the Fairy Pools, and some of Scotland's most photographed scenery.
Skye's landscape does a lot of the entertaining by itself — the Storr, the Quiraing and the Fairy Pools are all short walks with a big payoff, though check which ones are actually buggy or toddler friendly before you set off.
It gets busy in summer, so an early start or a shoulder-season visit makes a real difference to how much of the island you can enjoy without queuing for the car park.
