Family days out in Fife

A coastal peninsula of fishing villages, St Andrews, and the Fife Coastal Path.

Fife's coastline is its main event — a string of fishing villages, harbours and beaches you can dip in and out of, with St Andrews at one end for the castle, cathedral ruins and the beach made famous by Chariots of Fire.

Inland is quieter and greener, with country parks and farm attractions that make a good rainy-day fallback if the coast is too blustery.
