Family days out in Angus And Dundee

Dundee's waterfront museums and the quieter glens and coastline of Angus.

Dundee has reinvented its waterfront around the V&A and RRS Discovery, and both sit an easy walk from the city centre if you're stringing a day together around them.

Angus itself is gentler — red sandstone towns, a coastline of cliffs and coves around Arbroath, and glens running up into the Cairngorms foothills that are worth the extra half hour in the car.
