About this place
Reservoir-side country park with woodland walks and a play area.
Built around a reservoir originally created to supply water to Dundee's jute mills, Crombie Country Park now offers woodland walks along the water's edge, with waymarked trails suited to a range of family walking abilities. A play area near the main car park gives younger children a proper stop of their own alongside the walking, and the reservoir attracts a reasonable amount of birdlife worth watching out for. It's a quieter, more low-key park than some of the bigger attractions nearby, well suited to a relaxed afternoon rather than a packed day out. It's free to visit, with parking on site and most main paths suitable for buggies.
