About this place
Pretty village at the head of Loch Tay with a beach, watersports and short walks.
Kenmore sits at the head of Loch Tay, a tidy village built around an old stone bridge, with a small beach area on the loch that's popular for paddling and picnics on a warm day. A watersports centre nearby hires out canoes and paddleboards for those wanting to get out on the water, and short, easy walks lead along the shore in both directions from the village. Taymouth Castle stands just outside the village, visible from parts of the walk even though it isn't generally open to visitors. It's free to visit the village and beach, with parking available and a couple of cafes nearby.
