About this place
Beautiful Moray coast beach with forest trails and picnic areas.
Backed by the tall pines of Roseisle Forest, this stretch of the Moray coast combines a sandy beach with shaded woodland trails, giving families the option to alternate between the shore and the trees depending on the weather or the mood of the day. Forestry Scotland maintains picnic areas among the trees, making it an easy spot to base a whole afternoon rather than just a quick stop at the sand. The beach itself is part of a longer, largely undeveloped stretch of coastline, so it tends to feel quieter than some of the more central Moray beaches. It's free to visit, with parking at the forest car park and no other facilities on site.
