This wide sandy beach near Kilmory, on Arran's southern coast, offers plenty of space for sandcastles and family beach games, along with a reasonable chance of spotting seals or seabirds along this quieter stretch of coastline. It's less visited than the beaches closer to Brodick, giving it a more remote, undeveloped feel even on a busy summer day. There are no facilities directly on the beach, so it's worth planning ahead before setting out. It's free to visit, with parking available nearby.
