This wooded glen on the edge of Leven combines a nature trail through mature trees with small animal enclosures, a play area and, when running, a miniature railway that's a particular favourite with younger children. A burn runs through the length of the glen, with paths following its course past waterfalls and ponds. Its combination of nature, animals and play packed into a fairly compact, free site makes it one of the better all-round family visits in this part of Fife. It's free to visit, with parking nearby, and while the main paths are manageable, some sections of the glen are steeper and less buggy-friendly.
